1.  Air New Zealand:

 As Trans Tasman joint venture partners, Air New Zealand and Virgin Australia together now offer an unprecedented choice of flights across the Tasman, with connections throughout New Zealand and Australia. The partnership extends to frequent flyer programs, with Airpoints and Velocity members enjoying reciprocal earning, redemption and premium customer benefits.

Eligible guests from both carriers will also enjoy an increased lounge network with reciprocal entry into Virgin Australia lounges across Australia, and Air New Zealand lounges throughout New Zealand and Australia. Lounge entry is complimentary for Air New Zealand’s Koru members, and Virgin Australia’s Lounge members flying across the Tasman or connecting to or from a Tasman flight.  Entry is also complimentary for Air New Zealand Gold Elite, or Gold Airpoints members, and Virgin Australia Platinum and Gold Velocity members.

2.  Delta Air Lines:

This Trans Pacific partnership gives Virgin Australia guests access to an ever-increasing number of cities across the United States, Canada and Mexico and the opportunity to earn frequent flyer points every step of the way.

Operating from hubs in Atlanta, Cincinnati, Detroit, Memphis, Minneapolis, New York and Salt Lake City, Delta Air Lines offer services to over 200 destinations in North America. Together Virgin Australia and Delta Air Lines operates 21 services a week from Australia to the USA.

Virgin Australia’s partnership with Delta Air Lines also sees their guests receive reciprocal lounge access and Velocity Platinum and Gold members receive complimentary entry into owned and operated Delta Sky Club lounges, around the world.

3.  Etihad Airways:

As integrated alliance partners with Etihad Airways, Virgin Australia offers an expanded global network of seamless connectivity, and increased loyalty rewards through reciprocal frequent flyer programs and lounge access. Etihad’s fleet of 57 aircraft operates close to 1000 flights per week, serving an international network of 67 destinations in 45 countries.

The Etihad Airways partnership also sees eligible Virgin Australia guests receive reciprocal lounge access and Velocity Platinum and Gold members receive complimentary entry into Etihad Airways Al Reem Lounge at Abu Dhabi Airport and Etihad Pearl Business Class lounges worldwide. Etihad Guest Gold and Gold Elite members receive complimentary entry into the Virgin Australia lounges at Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth and Canberra airports.

4.  Singapore Airlines:

The alliance between Singapore Airlines and Virgin Australia will enable the two airlines to provide guests with an expanded network to over 60 destinations across Asia, India and Africa with seamless connections and more opportunities to earn frequent flyer points and access lounges.

Guests will enjoy reciprocal frequent flyer recognition, enabling KrisFlyer members to earn and redeem frequent flyer points on Virgin Australia’s network and Velocity members will be able to earn and redeem frequent flyer points and earn status credits on selected Singapore Airlines operated flights. Reciprocal lounge access and other status recognition benefits are also available for eligible guests.
